The Brown Modelling Agency represents Texas

Actors and Models don’t have to move to New York or London to find solid representation. Justin Brown brought his knowledge, skills and connections to Austin in 2015 to establish Brown Modelling Agency. Since then local talent has been filling advertising pages, shining in commercials, and getting cast in films.

The Brown agency holds Open Calls every Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. You only need to bring your talent, but if you have promotional pictures, or a résumé it’s a good idea to bring them. Some of the best and brightest stars the Brown Agency have discovered came from open calls.

Whether you’re interested in making a career of acting, modeling or both; or you’re looking for an exciting way to earn some extra income, the Brown agency is a great place to find fascinating opportunities. They’re just as thrilled to help part-timers get jobs as extras in locally made commercials and films, as they are to help young talent become world-class talent on the global stage.

While supplying the Austin area with local talent, the Brown agency also represents talent to agencies in bigger markets. The Brown agency is proud to have talent representing all over the world, from Miami to Singapore. It’s not uncommon to see representatives from agencies in other markets scouting in their offices.

The Brown agency initially launched offices in Dallas, in 2010. They’re still there representing Texans of all ages. From providing wholesome, fresh-faced kids for family oriented commercials, to actors working on their second or even third career as empty-nesters with beauty and talent to develop; the Brown agency is always on the lookout for that joyous moment when the spark shows through, and another rare gem is discovered. They’ve even been known to cast entire families for photo shoots.

Working with raw talent, as they often do, the Brown agency has built a strong connection with a wide variety of area educators who can teach new models and actors the skills necessary to land the bigger contracts.

The agency is proud to be a pro-active member of the greater community. When Hurricane Harvey devastated the Houston area in late August, the Brown agency shifted their focus to helping with relief efforts, and raising donations.

As members of the greater community, Brown has never been shy about standing up for the arts. When a state politician tried to tear the film industry asunder, they stood alongside the Texas Motion Picture Alliance to protect the industry they so proudly serve.

The Brown agency is here to help develop new talent, here to get Texans out into the global market, and here to stay. You can visit their instagram account for more info.
